If you are interested in the project to ‘Save Saint Mura’s Cross’ there is a an easy way in which you can help.
In the car park in front of the Fowler Hall, beside Saint Mura’s primary school in Tooban we have a clothes bank. if you have unwanted clothes you can donate them to us. This provides a much needed regular income for our activities.
Used clothing provides welcome funding for many charities. In general the bins which provide funding for charities, schools etc. are clearly marked with the name of the charity. The proceeds from bins which are unidentified in general go to commercial concerns.
Follow the directions as outlined on the photograph of the bin. Put your clothing in a plastic sack (not too large) and place it in the bin.
The clothing is sorted and goes back into the ‘rag trade’ for various uses.
